Stages of the Short Sale

Once you have decided that a short sale is right for you we
will meet to help you with all the forms.

Stage One - Forms

  • Listing Agreement
  • Borrowers Authorization letter- this is needed so we may
    discuss/negotiate the short sale with any and all lender(s)
    on your behalf.
  • Financial Statements- This provides a breakdown of clients
    expenses that most banks require
  • Hardship Letter This is a letter written by the homeowner
    describing your current situation

Stage Two - Submissions

Once we receive all required forms, we will submit the paperwork to the banks. This process can take anywhere from 1-4 months, depending on the bank or circumstances it may take longer

Stage Three

Negotiating- Our office negotiates the terms of the short sale

Stage Four

Open escrow and close once all conditions have been satisified
